Essential Responsibilities
- Perform installation, alterations, additions and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors and associated materials and equipment within the electrical commercial construction industry.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing problems & offer solutions that meet or exceed NEC code & company standards.
- Enter work performed on company supplied laptop computer
- Effectively communicate with customers as necessary
Job Requirements
- Certified Electrical license is required
- Valid California Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Can work independently and make sound decisions regarding work methods and tools
- Has knowledge and experience implementing the National Electrical Code relating to Commercial electrical work
- Self-directed, organized, motivated and reliable
- Understand and interpret written and verbal instructions
- Computer literate
- Must have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, handle complex problems effectively, able to communicate well with all customers and other employees.
- Must supply own electrical hand tools.
- Able to climb ladders, lift, and work in a variety of weather conditions
- Full range of mobility in upper and lower body
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs of weight, pull and push materials and equipment to compete assigned job tasks
- Able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time
- Periodically available for emergency calls at any time.
